Load Shedding in Nepal increases to 14 hours!

Load Shedding in Nepal has increased to 14 hours from Monday (16th Janauary). With this Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has increased the load shedding hours from existing 69 hours a week to 88 hours.

According to the load shedding schedule, there would be 12 hours of load shedding on Sunday, 11 hours of load shedding on Monday and Tuesday, 13 hours of load shedding on Wednesday and Saturday while 14 hours of load shedding on Thursday and Friday.

The reason behind increasing the power cut hours is the decreasing level of water in the river with the onset of winter according to NEA.
