In its journey to ICC World T20 Qualifiers Nepal secures a consecutive win for second time beating Denmark by nine wickets in the UAE on Wednesday. Spinner Shakti Gauchan’s four wickets and batsman Pradeep Airee’s 65 runs off 43 balls were noteworthy for Nepal’s victory. In its first opening match of the ICC World T20 Qualifiers tournament on Tuesday, Nepal had won Hong Kong with 28 runs.

Denmark, elected to bat first had left behind a target of only 82 runs for Nepal. Shakti Gauchan seized four wickets and thus with his hat-trick took the lead of making the one-sided game. Besides Gauchan, Prithu Baskota claimed two wickets.
In Nepals turn, after loss of wicket Paresh Lohani (3 runs); partnership of Pradeep Airee and Sharad Vesawkar collected 78 runs totalling up to 85 in 12.4 overs. Airee with seven Fours and four sixes ruled the game.
