Are you attending Nepali Bloggers Meetup in Kathmandu?

Nepali Bloggers have scheduled a Meetup this Thursday on November 4 in heart of the Kathmandu Valley, New Baneshwor.

Seems the festive season in Nepal has also keyed up bloggers over something better in the Nepali Blogosphere.

The meetup, expecting some hundred bloggers is a public event created in headship of some popular Nepali Bloggers like Basanta Gautam, Dilip Acharya, Jotare Dhaiba, Aakar Anil.

नेपाली ब्लग जगत बिस्तारित हुने, परिपक्व हुने र नेपाली समाजमा आफ्नो स्पष्ट पहिचान बनाउने क्रममा छ| थुप्रै नेपाली ब्लगरहरु नेपाल भित्र र बाहिरबाट नेपाली, अंग्रेजी र अरु बिभिन्न भाषाहरुमा सक्रिय रुपले ब्लगहरु संचालन गरिरहेका छन्| तर नेपाली ब्लगरहरुबीच प्रत्यक्ष अन्तर्क्रिया भने ज्यादै थोरै मात्र भएको छ|

I don’t want to talk a lot about all before the meetup. But I would definitely suggest you to go for the meetup if it’s possible for you. For many bloggers who cannot attend physically but are still interested in the meetup, I hope the organisers go for something like Live Webcast and make it possible to attend. Even if not, hopefully, we shall be able to learn about the meetup along with the images through a lot of bloggers.

This isn’t the first meetup from Nepali Bloggers though. A group of bloggers from Kathmandu also had a gathering some two-three years ago which I learnt from Ujjwal Acharya on Global Voices.

And how could you forget the online Meetups? Dautari recently hosted its version of third online meetup which was attended by more than a dozen socially active Nepali bloggers.
