Nepal’s only billionaire Binod Chaudhary launched the English version of his book Making it Big at an event organised by NRN in London, UK.
The book launch event took place on Sunday, 19th February at Venue5 in London amidst the presence of several Nepali business professionals. Unlike other NRN events, the event attracted several youths and people from diverse backgrounds within the Nepali community.
The interaction and book signing evening went on for more than four hours with the hall overpacked with the invite-only audience. Binod Chaudhary patiently met as many attendees as possible and signed the books along with their names. He later mentioned in his speech that he asked almost everyone about what they do in the UK while signing the books. It was indeed a personal meet and greet with the busy business tycoon of Nepal.
The event started off by few NRN personnel taking the stage to congratulate Binod Chaudhary on his successful business journey and launch of the book. The current Nepali ambassador to the UK, Durga Bahadur Subedi, MP of Ealing and Southall, Virendra Sharma, and NRN Europe co-ordinator Kul Acharya were among the ones that highly praised Chaudhary with their long speeches.
Binod Chaudhary later took the stage to deliver an inspiring speech of his entrepreneurial success including the highs and lows of his life, touching on several aspects covered in his book. His motivational messages urging everyone in the room to take that next step in business and life was frequently applauded.
His speech was followed by a Q&A session where Chaudhary answered several questions ranging from his candid personal life views to controversial business decisions.
Binod Chaudhary was also accompanied by his family members including his son Nirvana Chaudhary, the second star of the evening, who is also the current managing director of CG corporation.
The book published by Penguin Random House in India was, however, launched already in other countries. Mr Chaudhary had previously launched the book in countries including Srilanka and India. The book is also available to buy on Amazon from many parts of the world.

The formal event began by uncovering Binod Chaudhary’s book “Making it Big”. The book was made available to all attendees at the time of registration.
Prior to the formal event, Chaudhary took time signing meeting the attendees and signing the book with their names.
The host of the evening, Khagendra Nepali then took the stage to kick off the formal program.
Current Nepali ambassador to the UK, Durga Bahadur Subedi was the first one to praise Mr Binod Chaudhary with his speech and a short poem dedicated to him.
Surprisingly, the event also had a traditional Nepali dance to entertain the audience after the long speech of Durga Bahadur Subedi.
Professor Surya P. Subedi was next to talk about Binod Chaudhary’s success and book.
Another distinguished guest of the evening, MP of Ealing and Southall, Virendra Sharma then took the stage to talk about the Nepali community in the UK and praise the success of Binod Chaudhary.
Binod Chaudhary calmly listened to all the praise of his work and success.
NRNA Europe Coordinator Mr. Kul Acharya then took on stage for a speech on behalf of the organisers.
The star of the evening, Binod Chaudhary finally took the stage for his hour-long inspiring speech that was repeatedly applauded and fully enjoyed by the audience.
Binod Chaudhary then took questions from the audience in the final Q&A session of the event.

Binod Chaudhary is the only billionaire of Nepal listed on the Forbes Magazine. President of Chaudhary Group (CG), one of the largest conglomerate businesses of Nepal, Chaudhary is listed at number 1577 with a net worth of $1.3 Billion at the time of this writing.
